Payment - We accept payment by Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit, Maestro and Solo.
- Payments must be made in pounds sterling.
- All overseas orders must be paid by credit card.
- For cheque payments accompanying orders received by post, the cheque will be banked upon receipt. Please note that delivery may take an additional 5 working days to allow for the cheque to be cleared.
Pricing - We endeavour to ensure that our prices in both the catalogue and on the web-site are accurate and up to date. However, we reserve the right to increase prices due to circumstances outside of our control. In this event, you will be contacted and given the option to cancel or amend your order prior to your order being despatched.
- Our prices are inclusive of VAT at the current applicable UK rate.
Delivery - We aim to process your order within 24 hours of receipt.
- Standard delivery takes between 3-5 working days. However, please allow up to 10 working days for delivery before contacting us as there may be a delay in processing your order during busy periods or some items may be temporarily out of stock. If the timing or your delivery is urgent then we recommend upgrading to our Express service.
- Our standard delivery charge is £4.95 for non-remote UK mainland addresses. Delivery to remote areas or off-shore may incur a surcharge in which case customers shall be advised prior to shipment.
- Where delivery is offered free of charge, this applies only to our standard UK mainland service. Where a minimum spend level is required to qualify, that spend excludes the delivery charge itself and the gift-wrapping service charge. Furthermore, the minimum spend level must be exceeded after any Promotion Code discounts have been applied.
- We can deliver to an alternative address to your billing address. This can be an added benefit, for example, if you are out at work all day then delivery can be made to a neighbour or your work address.
- For deliveries outside of the UK mainland, please contact us for shipping charges on +44 116 261 3000 or enquiries@justchildsplay.co.uk . Please note that our shipping is restricted to within the European Union region.
Express Delivery - For urgent orders and in stock items, we offer an Express Delivery service. Delivery is usually next working days and is available at £6.95. This applies to non-remote UK Mainland addresses. Express delivery to remote areas or off-shore may incur a surcharge in which case customers shall be advised prior to shipment, furthermore, delivery times may be extended by 1-2 days.
- For orders received before midday, we shall endeavour to achieve delivery on the next working day. Express orders received at weekends or on Bank Holidays will normally be processed and packaged on the next working day for delivery on the following day. E.g. For an order received on a Saturday, Express Delivery will usually take place on the following Tuesday.

Our Guarantee
We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase. However, under our 'no quibble' policy, if you wish to return the goods then please do so within 28 days of receipt and we will be happy to provide a full refund or exchange. Please note that goods returned under our 'no quibble' policy must be returned unopened in its original packaging and in a saleable condition. Refunds will normally be processed within 7 working days of the goods being received by us.
Please note that whilst we endeavour to accurately portray products on our website, occassionally, the colours designs and packaging may differ from those shown.
If goods develop a fault during the first 12 months after purchase then we will offer a replacement item at no cost to the customer or, alternatively, a refund at our discretion.
When returning goods, we recommend you use a 'signed-for' service, as proof of posting cannot be regarded as proof of receipt. Unless the goods are faulty or damaged, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Where we pay postage for faulty product returns, our liability for refunding the postage cost is limited to £5. If the cost exceeds this value then you MUST contact us prior to returning the goods as we may, at our discretion, opt to arrange for the goods to be collected at our cost. The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive
As a retailer, Just Childsplay is required, by law, to allow customers to return their waste electrical and electronic equipment free of charge (see below regarding cost of return delivery). The aim is to allow the considerable amount of WEEE that goes to landfill to be either repaired or recycled.
Under the regulations, we offer our customers a free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when a new electrical or electronic product is purchased from us. For example, if a customer purchased a new electronic notebook from us we would accept their old electronic notebook and prevent it going to landfill by disposing of it safely. Customers MUST return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item. PLEASE NOTE: CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF RETURNING ANY ITEM UNDER THESE REGULATIONS.
If a customer wishes to return an item under these regulations then, in the first instance, please email customerservices@justchildsplay.co.uk with "RETURN OF ITEM UNDER WEEE REGULATIONS" in the subject line. Additionally, please provide your address and contact details together with the invoice number of the order you have received from us and a detailed description of the item that you wish to return. We will then verify the eligibility of the return under the regulations. In the event that non-eligible items are returned to us without first obtaining our agreement may result in action to recover any costs associated with disposal of the non-eligible item.
Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:
Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
